Beatriz de la Cámara is the answer to the timeless female conflict, for she tries to combine haut couture’s sophisticated touch with the natural and versatile forms of everyday’s life; passionate romanticism with chromatic balance; and contemporary gracefulness with the enduring essence of classical shapes. Her clothes may be distinguished not only for the soft tones that they exhibit, which range from powder pink to silver-grey, but also for the light and fluid movements encompassed by textures, specially by silken muslin and plissé tulle.A single look at one of her designs should suffice to let us be engulfed by a universe of her own, deeply touched by classic cinema, designers like Jaques Fath or the aesthetics of classical ballet. The essence of her style can be best summed up as “versatility in the form of details emerging both masterly and soothingly”.Her clothes are an account of herself, both conveying her aim at simple pieces and highlighting women’s delicacy in every possible situation. Beatriz de la Cámara’s early endeavour in fashion led her to make a profession out of a talent. It is in 2009 that she creates a select line of cocktail dresses, the very first collection to appear under her name. In 2011, her current partner and company CEO, Rubén García Ruiz, joined this initiative, taking the two-year-old project even further. Currently the label is distributed through a select network of multibrand stores.
